Designed to be appreciated from every angle, Ankara’s intricate open curve of hand-cut and hand-pieced hardwood opens up an artistic and architectural 360-degree view in the living room. ^ The chair’s geometric barrel design is inspired by Indonesian mosaics and handcrafted by the islands’ skilled artisans of solid ash with a grey wash finish. A handwoven tropical cane seat hosts a comfortable thick cushion upholstered in a heavyweight blend of rayon, flax and cotton that yields slight luster and a pleasing slubby effect.
