The shiny copper finish will darken over time, developing a rich patina. To restore it to its original color, simple dissolve 1 tablespoon of salt in 1/4 cup of vinegar and apply the solution to a small area of the kettle and rinse quickly under running water. Continue until the entire kettle is shiny.
